Giardini Naxos is a town in the Province of Messina, on the East coast of the wonderful Sicily, Italy. It lies between Cape Taormina and Cape Schisò, as a long, sensational crescent-shaped pebble-and-sand beach. Known as the first Greek settlement in Sicily, dating back to 734BC, today this place stands out as one of the most sought after and sophisticated seaside-resorts in Italy.

In between visits to the favourites in Rome, such as the Vatican and the Colosseum, consider some of these alternative and unusual tours of Rome. Here are my top five most enjoyable alternative tours of Rome.
Pinkpop Festival, or Pinkpop for short, is a rock festival held annually on the Pentecost weekend at Landgraaf, Netherlands. According to the Guinness Book of Records, since 1990 this is the oldest annual festival in the world. This year’s edition, the 43rd, will run from May 26th to 28th.

Mayday, one of the oldest and most reputed electronic music festivals in Germany, is held annually since 1991 in Dortmund, located in the Bundesland of North Rhine-Westphalia.
