0Perfect Honeymoon in Paris
Paris definitely needs no introduction. You should have at least a week to visit it all, but if you’re honeymooning you can certainly select a few not to be missed places, suitable for a couple of newlyweds.
Paris is the city of romance and culture: from the many landmarks, renowned also by those who have never been there, i.e. the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Seine, the Grands Buolevards, Montmartre, to the numerous museums of international importance, which preserve masterpieces of world art, from Mona Lisa and the Venus of Milo, to the permanent collections of modern art.
Paris for two invites you to treat yourself to a very chic and traditional breakfast at Place des Abbesses, on the hill of Montmartre. Then go down Rue des Martyrs to enjoy some healthy shopping, and up to the district of Saint-Georges to visit… the Museum of Romantic Life, of course! Reach the Luxembourg Gardens, then to go to declare your love at the foot of the beautiful Medici Fountain.
If you are looking for elegance, charm and luxury, the area for you is the Tuileries with the Louvre and Place Vendome. There will breathe the magical atmosphere that reigns in the alleyways and cafés of St-Germain-des-Pres and in the less crowded and touristy corners in Montmartre, where you can also happen to buy a portrait by one of the street painters. Finally, don’t miss a stroll along the Champs-Elysees and a visit to the Eiffel Tower, from where you can admire the amazing view over the city and where, why not, you can enjoy a romantic dinner for two by candlelight.
However, the world capital of love, there are plenty of dreamy places where to dine or spend a pleasant evening. Starting from the popular Bal du Moulin Rouge – the most famous cabaret in the world since 1889. A stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysees and the Seine, Findi is the most elegant and refined Italian restaurant in Paris. Finally, a pure French restaurant for a perfect Paris-style evening is Le Relais de Montmartre – 55, Boulevard Rochechouart, located between the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur, in ‘belle epoque’ style.
The most demanding, if possible, can experience the luxury of a private romantic dinner on the Seine – you will be alone on a boat, with champagne and personal head-waiter, for a unique and wonderful cruise (from 1350 € per person), or a Dinner among the clouds in a hot air balloon (From 540 € per person).
Choose to spend your honeymoon in Paris: a romantic start for a lifetime together!
