Fireworks, represent one of the essential elements during the celebration of an event such New Years. New year revelers across the UK, but also visitors from all over the world, will welcome 2014 at a great open-air party in London, with a spectacular firework display at the London Eye, South Bank; of course, the event, free to attend, is scheduled for the 31st December 2013, to begin shortly before midnight.
Official viewing areas include Westminster Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Victoria Embankment and the area of the South Bank directly in front of the London Eye. The official viewing areas have a limited capacity of 250,000, and will begin filling up starting from 8.00pm. Please note that the official viewing areas will be closed once capacity is reached, but the show will be visible from across central London thanks to the installation of large screens.
The area around The London Eye and along the South Bank will be a vibrant place to see out 2013, with fireworks being launched off the 135 meter high London Eye for an eye popping extravaganza. The most spectacular fireworks display will undoubtedly be by the South Bank where the chimes of Big Ben will be heard rolling along the Thames towards the London Eye from where thousands of fireworks will be set off.
The display will be amazing from under the sky, but if you feel like watching it from indoors instead, there are plenty of venues offering spectacular views. This way you can combine fun with drink and food, and make the last night of 2013 a classy one with a visit to one of the best restaurants and bars to watch New Years Eve fireworks.

On the other hand, the best bars to watch New Years Eve fireworks are Tattershall Castle, a stationary pub on a boat near Embankment Tube, or Walkabout Inn – another bar that provides views across the Thames towards the fireworks display.
