Lady Gaga, Dec 4th – Dec 5th, Milan
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, will be in Milan in early December at the Forum of Assago. This is one of the city’s musical events of the year.
Lady Gaga, born in New York in 1986, has become an icon of pop music in the recent years: in 2010 the Time magazine included her among the most influential artists in the music world and the weekly magazine Forbes, features her as the fourth, among the most powerful celebrities.
In 2010, Lady Gaga (has attributed the inspiration for her name to the Queen song, “Radio Ga-Ga”) has won everything that an artist can win: four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, 8 statuettes out of 13 nominations at the MTV Video Music. Her albums have topped the charts worldwide, fans and admirers can’t wait for her 2011 album to be released: Born This Way.
Lady Gaga’s career began as a songwriter, writing texts for major international pop stars such as Fergie, the Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears. The solo career began in 2008 with the album Just Dance, which soon reached the heights of the charts: in 2010 she released two LPs, Alejandro and Dance In The Dark, to which great part of the upcoming event in Milan will be dedicated: The Monster Ball Tour.
In addition to a wonderful voice, Lady Gaga does not go unnoticed by her hairdos and her look: with regard to clothing – inspired by Donatella Versace as she asserted – Lady Gaga has created a specialized team – the Haus of Gaga – that creates her clothing and follows her everywhere.
