London Toy Fair 2012: a showcase of the toys of the next future
The 59th annual Toy Fair 2012, the only trade exhibition in the UK dedicated to toys, games and hobbies, is back at Olympia’s Grand and West Halls in London on 24-26 January, 2012. With 250 exhibitors that range from the large internationals to the new start up companies, this event is a must attend for the UK toy trade.
With a wide range of fantastic toys (to be launched) from teddies to dolls houses, from wooden toys to board games, from scooters to puzzles, the Toy Fair provides visitors with a real overview and insight into a fun, innovative and exciting industry, as well as providing a great networking opportunity and the chance to touch, feel and experiment with the toys of the future.
Over 200 toy companies of all shapes and sizes ranging from major toy brands like Hasbro, Character, Bandai and Vivid Imaginations, to innovative and exciting start ups, will be showcasing – over 24,000 square meters of space devoted to the toy, game and hobby business – thousands of brand new playthings that will be on the market through 2012 and beyond.
Exhibitors – ranging from the large internationals to the new start up companies – will once again be showcasing thousands of brand new toys, games and hobbies to the UK’s largest gathering of toy industry professionals.
On the opening morning of the show, Toy Fair announces the Best New Toy awards for 2012, showing what a panel of expert toy retailers think are the hottest launches expected for the year ahead.

Unfortunately, being a strictly business event, the London Toy Fair is not open to the public. But if you happen to work in one of the “business” categories including: buyers, merchandisers, licensors, media, play specialists, inventors, marketeers, designers, suppliers to the trade, distributors, importers, agents, educational specialists and indeed anyone associated with the “seriously fun” business of toys, you will be welcome!
