Explore the island’s two main towns – San Antonio and Ibiza Town, the Capital – both of which are on the coast and boast a magnificent promenade dotted with restaurants and little eateries serving everything from tapas and pizza to gourmet menus. During the peak tourist season in summer, there are bus services that connect San Antonio with Ibiza Town, where the majority of the nightclubs are located.

Moreover, Paseo Vara de Rey is perhaps the most popular tourist destination in Ibiza, intently happening in the evenings. This is a a long avenue with bars, shops and restaurants of any sort.

The best clubs and venues for partying in Ibiza

The main pioneers of Ibiza’s “clubland” were the Amnesia and Pacha, which opened in the 1970s, and followed, shortly after, by the Ku Club, better known as Privilege, which is the largest nightclub on Ibiza and can hold up to 10,000 guests.

Other top-rated clubs on the island include: Es Paradis – 3 dance floors, a boutique, 4 V.I.P areas and 10 bars; Space – awarded “Best Global Club” at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005, 2006 and again in 2012; Eden – right in the middle of San Antonio.

Please note, these are the largest and most famous clubs on Ibiza, where admission charges are usually fairly high and drinks are a little expensive too, but there are also smaller and cheaper clubs which perhaps don’t have such major entertainment, but do have a charm of their own.

The important thing is that ALL these nightclubs stay open until the early hours of the morning and many people are still partying when after dawn!
