{"id":99,"date":"2010-01-07T12:05:17","date_gmt":"2010-01-07T11:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.traveleurope.com\/en\/?p=99"},"modified":"2013-09-27T12:40:34","modified_gmt":"2013-09-27T11:40:34","slug":"sales-the-shopping-streets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.traveleurope.com\/en\/sales-the-shopping-streets\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales: the shopping streets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shopping with sales is by now an International tradition.<\/p>\n<p>Why do not enjoy the luxury of a designer article once a year?<\/p>\n<p>Regulated by specific laws that vary from city to city, seasonal, early-season and mid-season sales are a \u201cmust\u201d which is hard to escape, not only for a simple question of price, but also because even the most chic and exclusive streets become, more or less, within the reach of many families and individuals.<\/p>\n<p>So in Rome, Milan, Paris and London, throngs of tourists and people spend hours on queue in front of the stores, just to buy a small or large object of desire.<\/p>\n<p>So, why don\u2019t go in the most famous shopping streets of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.com\/france\/paris.php\" target=\"_blank\">Paris<\/a>, as <em>Montaigne Avenue<\/em>, Boulevard Haussmann, Place Vend\u00f4me, Rue du Mont Thabor, <em>Rue de Rivoli<\/em>, Boulevard de Sebastopol, Rue Washington, Avenue Montaigne, Rue Faubourg St Honore and the <em>Champs Elysees<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Or those of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.com\/united-kingdom\/london.php\" target=\"_blank\">London<\/a>, starting from the Mayfair district (West End), and then <em>Oxford Street<\/em>, Jermyn Street, Kings Road, <em>Carnaby Street<\/em>, New Bond Street, <em>Regent Street<\/em>, Knightsbridge and Notting Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Or in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/itinerari\/m\/milano.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Milan,<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/milan\/milan_centre.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">historical centre<\/a>, between the streets of the famous fashion district: <em>Via Montenapoleone<\/em>, Via della Spiga, Via Sant\u2019Andre, Via Borgospesso, <em>Corso Vittorio Emanuele<\/em>, Via Torino, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/milan\/corso_buenos_aires.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Corso Buenos Aires<\/a>, and Via Dante.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, into the streets of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/itinerari\/r\/roma.shtml\" target=\"_blank\"> Rome<\/a>, famous around the world: <em>Via Condotti<\/em>, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Venezia, <em>Via Nazionale<\/em>, around the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/rome\/rome_vatican_city.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Vatican<\/a>, Via Cola di Rienzo, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/rome\/rome_via_veneto.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Via Veneto<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Photo by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jburgin\/3188946308\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">jburgin<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shopping with sales is by now an International tradition.
