This year\u2019s Illuminations are just as bright as ever. New features this year include Mandarin lanterns and chandeliers, plus a special homage to fifty years of Star Trek. Towards the North end of the display are the large tableaux, welcoming a new Enchanted Garden installation allowing you to enter a magical forest of illuminated trees and lights<\/strong>. Some of the Illuminations favourites include Teddy Bear\u2019s Picnic, Swan Lake and Sooty.<\/p>\n

Together with the Blackpool Illuminations, LightPool will bring together synthesised light and sound with state-of-the-art video mapping technology to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Meanwhile, the impressive ‘NEON’ exhibition at the Grundy Art Gallery featuring work from some of the best artists in the world, including Tracey Emin and Fran\u00e7ois Morellet.<\/p>\n
