Over the months, the &#8216;circus&#8217; of the World Cup, moves through Europe (Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Finland, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Norway), North America, the USA and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Italy<\/strong>, the appointment is between December 17 and 30, with the super G of the 17th and downhill on the 18th in <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/area\/hotel-val-gardena.php\" target=\"_blank\">Val Gardena<\/a> &#8211;<\/strong><strong> Gr\u00f6den<\/strong>, the giant slalom in <strong>Alta Badia<\/strong> on December 19 and Cup men&#8217;s downhill race on December 29, in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/itinerari\/b\/bormio.shtml\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Bormio<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With regards to the Ladie&#8217;s Ski World Cup races: January 23 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.it\/itinerari\/c\/cortina-d-ampezzo.shtml\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Cortina d&#8217;Ampezzo<\/strong><\/a> (Super G), January 29 &#8211; Sestriere (downhill), January 30 &#8211; <strong>Sestriere<\/strong> (Super Combined), January 30 &#8211; Sestriere (Super G), March 5 &#8211; Tarvisio (downhill) and the Super G of the day after.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Val Gardena is getting ready to host matches in mid-December: tickets are available on line, visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.saslong.org\/?pagid=204&amp;newlang=eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">web site.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Europe<\/strong>, the World Cup is hosted by the most beautiful ski resorts, and well equipped for downhill skiing, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.com\/switzerland\/wengen.php\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Wengen<\/strong><\/a>, in the canton of Bern, to 1270 meters of altitude with its 100 km of slopes; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.traveleurope.com\/austria\/kitzbuehel.php\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Kitzb\u00fchel<\/strong><\/a>, city of the Austrian Tyrol with the legendary <strong>Streif <\/strong>slope, as well as other 145 km of tracks covered with snow from November to May; <strong>Chamonix<\/strong> in Haute-Savoie, France, with its countless skiing areas, <strong>Br\u00e9vent\/ Fl\u00e9g\u00e8re<\/strong> facing Mont Blanc, Les Grands Montets to the North and Balme on the border with Switzerland; <strong>St. Moritz<\/strong> in the Swiss canton of Grisons, well equipped and trendy resort with over 13 000 available beds in its hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Photo by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/lucagalli\/2142995861\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Galli Luca<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ski World Cup has started on October 24 in S\u00f6lden, Austria, with the giant slalom competition, and will end between March 20 and 23 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, with both team skiing of men and ladies.
