If you\u2019re heading to Paris for a weekend visit, pick up a Paris Pass<\/a><\/strong> to make the most of your short stay. It combines a metro travel card with entry to more than 60 museums and attractions. Here\u2019s some ideas for how to spend your two days.<\/p>\n

Day 1<\/h3>\n

Paris Metro\u2019s start early in the morning, so after some breakfast, find your way to the nearest stop and activate your Paris Pass. Jump on a line 1, 2 or 6 train and head to Charles de Gaulle \u2013 \u00c9toile\u200e. This stop is right at the Champs Elysees<\/strong><\/a>, so you can emerge and take in the stunning beauty of the world-famous monument.<\/p>\n

From here, you can jump onto the hop-on hop-off bus tour that\u2019s included in the Paris Pass. It makes 9 stops around the city, and is a great way to navigate the key sights. Ride three stops to the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, a trip up to the top of the tower isn\u2019t included, but the ~13\u20ac will be well spent if you do decide to do it. <\/span><\/p>\n

After your trip up the top, grab some lunch and head to Port de la Bourdonnais, which is just a short stroll from the tower to the Seine river. You can spend the afternoon on the relaxing Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise, which is also included in your Paris Pass. And before heading back to your hotel, why not stop by Notre Dame Cathedral if it\u2019s on the way.<\/p>\n

Day 2<\/h3>\n

You\u2019ve got lots of options for day 2, and there\u2019s no way you can fit it all in. Start your day at the Louvre, Paris\u2019s most famous museum. You could spend days inside, but when you get hungry, head for the exit and then up Rue St Honor\u00e9, where you\u2019ll find lots of restaurants. If you want something lighter, you\u2019ll find some places in the Tuileries Gardens.<\/p>\n

After lunch, jump on the tour bus back at the Louvre, and ride it one stop to the grand Notre Dame cathedral on \u00cele de la Cit\u00e9 \u2013 that\u2019s the little island in the Seine. From here jump on the M4 for two stops. You\u2019re now just a short stroll away from 68 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, where you can skip the queue for a wine tasting that\u2019s included in your Paris Pass.<\/p>\n

When you\u2019re down the sun will be threatening to go down slowly. So it\u2019s time now to prioritise: you\u2019ve got 30+ museums you could visit, the Palace of Versailles, Galeries Lafayette (but you don\u2019t really have too much time for shopping), or the Fat Tire bike & segway tour. I\u2019d suggest a trip up one of the world\u2019s fastest elevator in Montparnasse Tower<\/strong><\/a>. If you missed going up the Eiffel Tower, you can still enjoy the views from the 56th floor.<\/p>\n
