A good opportunity to &#8220;taste&#8221; this city and its monuments in a festive atmosphere and surrounded by countless delicacies. This tasty event will be held at the Historical Hall of the <strong>Leopolda Station<\/strong> in Pisa which, for the occasion, will be entirely set up using cardboard, in line with the philosophy of ecological recycling.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, Dolcemente, which literally means &#8220;in a sweet way&#8221;, celebrates enlarging its exhibition space and featuring a selection of the best craftsmen from various Italian regions who will show that between the differences in the Italian confectionery there is a thread that connects them all. In addition, there will be new exhibitors and new workshops: on the top of the list, the practical courses of the great Cucina Italiana school and the presentation of the training course titled &#8220;The composition in the arts: music, visual arts, design, pastry&#8221; held by great master chef Gualtiero Marchesi.<\/p>\n<p>Other novelties for this edition are<strong> two extra activities<\/strong>, geared to live more intensely Pisa and its products.<br \/>\nThe first is &#8220;<strong>A chocolate river<\/strong>&#8220;, an afternoon tour by boat along the Arno River, departing from Scalo Roncioni \u2013 ticket costs 12 \u20ac; the second is \u201c<strong>Passeggiata Pasticciata<\/strong>\u201d, a walking tour in the historical centre led by a tourist guide, to visit the best pastry shops, chocolatiers and ice cream parlors in the city. The tour costs 10 euros.<\/p>\n<p>And then, worthy of note are the great classics of the event, from the &#8220;Dolcemente Junior&#8221; space for children, to the awaited moment of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/recycledalien.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/23\/let-them-throw-cake\/\" target=\"_blank\">Panforte Throw<\/a><\/strong>, fun Tuscan tradition, the photographic contest &#8221; Tempting Shot&#8221;, the tastings tours and much more.<\/p>\n<p>As every year, you can visit the exhibition and take part in the activities by purchasing the ticket at the price of 5 \u20ac, children under 13 have free admission.
