Situated in the south of the Istrian peninsula, Pula offers a beautiful natural scenery and numerous entertainment venues. What makes it so special are the many ancient remains still visible in the city centre and then, of course, the kilometers of beaches<\/strong> and wonderful surroundings.<\/p>\n

Among the most interesting buildings<\/strong>, worth a mention the Main Post Office in the style of the 30s, built by architect Angiolo Mazzoni, the former Casino Marina (1872-1913), the Theater and the Market made of metal and glass where you can buy fresh fish and vegetables. In addition to these, the Church of St. Nicholas built with limestone, up to the foot of the symbol of the city: the Roman Amphitheatre.<\/p>\n

During your leisure time, which is usually abundant when you are on vacation in Pula you can practice many sports<\/strong> such as windsurfing, basketball, tennis, sailing, golf. The waterfront of Pula is a road running from Valcana to Valsaline, up to the rocky coast and winding through pine woods with beautiful trails in the forest.<\/p>\n

2) Punta Verudela<\/h3>\n

Here most of the beaches are rocky, but there are also pebble beaches. Some of them are backed by a rich pine forest, while in the tourist resort, outdoor swimming pools are available.<\/p>\n

3) Banjole<\/h3>\n

This beach is partly rocky and partly graveled. The forest stops a very short distance from the sea, so you can relax on the beach under the shade of pine trees and bath in a crystal blue sea. Here you can rent boats and aqua-trikes to enjoy the waves.<\/p>\n

4) Fa\u017eana<\/h3>\n

The municipal beach of Fa\u017eana is opposite the Brijuni Islands<\/a> and has received the prestigious Blue Flag. The beaches in Fa\u017eana are generally well equipped with showers and bathrooms, partly paved and partly graveled, while there are also Child-friendly beaches, with concrete terraces that provide easy access to the sea, ideal for the joy of the whole family.<\/p>\n

5) Premantura<\/h3>\n

Here the beaches are mostly with pebbles, while those further away are rocky. The rocky beaches of natural stone are ideal for lovers of nature, but also for those who wish to indulge in naturism.<\/p>\n

Pula is also a paradise for diving enthusiasts, thanks to the presence of beautiful sites, rich in marine life and boasting beautiful caves that make this rock face one of the most spectacular along the western coast of Istria: Fra\u0161keri\u0107, Cape Rakovica or Svjetionik (The Lighthouse).<\/p>\n
