The Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is a section of the Andalusian coast in Spain extending from Tarifa to the mouth of the Guadiana River. As this area is not discovered yet by mass tourism, but is rather a popular destination for mainly Spanish people, here you will enjoy a truly authentic Spanish holiday, which means having fun, eating and… dancing just as Spaniards do: and we all know how good they are at that…

Madrid is the capital city as well as the largest city of Spain. With its 6 million inhabitants, Madrid is celebrated as Europe’s liveliest city, boasting the presence of outstanding landmarks, dozens of museums and plenty of things to do at any time of the day, and night! The location of the capital is a prime reason why it is a worthy place to visit, as it stands in the center of the Iberian Peninsula. It’s no surprise, then, that the major airport in Spain, is the Madrid-Barajas Airport.

Once upon a time, there was a region of Southern Spain where almost all the traditional villages were painted bright white. There is actually one exception today, as the settlement of Jùzcar, inland from Malaga, after being chosen as the set of the Smurfs 3D film, has been painted entirely in… blue!

Global, magnificent, erudite, young and… Golden: Salamanca is located in central Spain, about 200 km from Madrid. This city is one of the most beautiful cities in the Spanish hinterland, which is worth visiting for many reasons. Salamanca is known for its spectacular monuments and palaces, all built of the same glowing sandstone which earned it the nickname “La Dorada”, i.e. the Golden City, as in the midday sun it shines like gold.

Formentera is half an hour by boat from the port of Ibiza. The two islands are very close, although very different in their landscapes and lifestyles. Formentera has no airports and no mega hotels and clubs as Ibiza. It’s rather an easy destination for a holiday with friends, in a wilderness marked by stretches of figs, vines, bougainvillea, and flocks of sheep. A place to be explored on foot, by bicycle or scooter, in an atmosphere of absolute calm; the pace is slow and everything goes on in a sort of relaxed joy. This is Formentera.
