The festivity known as Carnevale, is mainly celebrated in Italy but also in many other places around the world. Better known as Carnival or Mardi Gras, it’s a sort of “final” party before Ash Wednesday, and it falls 40 days before Easter (so the actual date changes yearly) so, strangely enough, its roots lie in the Christian calendar.

We said it many times, but we will never be tired of it: Amsterdam is a terrific city. Among the most tourist-ridden cities in the world, with its well planned landscape and unique ambience, the Capital of Netherlands is always able to strike and surprise travellers with its excesses and creative proposals. The true lovers of taste can’t miss these yummy destinations! The food museums. In Europe, of course!
