Besides wonderful cities, great landmarks, a terrific natural environment and (not always) excellent food, Europe boasts another record breaking win: Parties! Indeed, despite projecting a relatively reserved image to the world, Europe actually knows how to have fun.

Days are slowly becoming longer, and the thrill of the upcoming summer makes our imagination run wide toward warm Mediterranean places, crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and long walks amid green hills and historic sites, perhaps caressed by a light breeze: is that Greece? Yep, Rhodes to be precise.

The Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is a section of the Andalusian coast in Spain extending from Tarifa to the mouth of the Guadiana River. As this area is not discovered yet by mass tourism, but is rather a popular destination for mainly Spanish people, here you will enjoy a truly authentic Spanish holiday, which means having fun, eating and… dancing just as Spaniards do: and we all know how good they are at that…

Portugal has many competing attractions and the Algarve is one of the most beautiful regions of the country, with endless beaches and lovely towns, including Lagos, a municipality at the mouth of Bensafrim River and along the Atlantic Ocean, in the Barlavento region, southern Portugal. A place where April already rhymes with… Summer!

Speaking of Dresden, the one thing that comes up again and again is the reminiscence of a city flattened by Allied bombers and ended up behind the Iron Curtain. 77 years have passed since Dresden’s historic Altstadt was razed to the ground by a shower of bombs during World War II: hope, goodwill… and time, have helped the city to rise from the rubble, and reclaim its status as ‘Florence on the Elbe’. A mix of old and new that makes for an ideal short trip.

London is so overwhelming that when you are there you often forget about everywhere else! However, most of you will probably get back, and back again to England, several times in a lifetime, so one of these times, don’t “forget” to head towards one of England’s major landmarks, and one of the world’s most beloved and discussed mysteries: Stonehenge.
